Bass is advisor or co-advisor to students working on topics that range from Dutch maritime painting to early modern English art and the material culture of women in early modern Batavia. Unless otherwise indicated here, Bass will be considering applications during the upcoming admissions cycle. For the sake of equity, she does not hold meetings or schedule conversations with prospective students prior to the final stage of the admission process.
